A gentlemen’s evening

An evening of gentlemen’s entertainment: socialising, fine food, debate, invited speakers and live music.
At a small cafe or restaurant, or at a private venue of suitable quality.
To create a space for fellows of good manners to associate and discuss pertinent matters in a pleasant environment. A chance to enjoy refined food, wine and conversation.
A small number of invited guests, of appropriate standing.
A midweek evening, possibly monthly.
Ladies present a distraction to gentlemen, causing them to inadvertently show off, compete with each other and indulge in other such buffoonery.
Smart dress. No mobiles, smoking or swearing. Moderate alcohol consumption.
