Another new Textpattern site launch from FCS Websites this week – for Lake District Boat Charter, a company specialising in yacht hire on Ullswater in the Lake District. Some fancy PNG transparency going on with this one, and it works in IE6 too!

Just launched this week is a new site for Zaanti complementary therapies, Nottingham. This job came as a referral from a previous customer, and Zaanti had a really clear brief – light, open and easy to navigate site with no annoying bits! I have had a Zaanti massage and definitely recommend their services – the massage was amazing

Our recent launches have been like buses – none for ages and then three at once. Here are the latest two sites for Lake District outdoor pursuits company Distant Horizons – their main site and the first niche site for Three Challenges.

They are both running on Expression Engine using the Multiple Site Manager module meaning that they can share resources and login to all the sites through one control panel – big time savers. The photography was all done in house at Distant Horizons and is stunning.

We have recently launched a new site for Lake District caving and mining instruction company GoCave.com. They were using a template based system that came free with their hosting package, which was letting them down in terms of design and search engine friendliness.

We created a Textpattern content managed website for GoCave, with a news feed and gallery. It uses CSS flyout menus and imports a weather feed from Metcheck.com. GoCave started receiving enquiries within a couple of days of the new site going live and the site is now much more visible to the search engines!
